Facilities

We have many facilities available for people of all ages, including...

A state of the art, 25 metre, competition, indoor swimming pool which opened in 2003. The pool has eight lanes and a hydraulic bottom which alters the depth from 0.8 to 3 metres making it equally ideal for training, water polo, sub aqua, or recreational swimming.

The College has an excellent sports hall complex. There are indoor cricket nets and facilities for a range of sports including indoor tennis, netball, basketball, volleyball and badminton.

The Rose Garden is close to the Memorial Hall. This is entered via a small brick Loggia over the entrance of which is an inscription in Greek.

The College has a Nature Trail which was established in 1972. The trail covers many different habitats including trout ponds, the river Kennet, the wetlands of the water meadows, semi ancient oak woodland and wildflower-rich chalk downland. The aim of the trail is to provide information about some of the many species of plants and animals on the reserve.
