Fashion marketing: trends and forecasting

Through demonstrations, discussions and group work this course introduces you to the theories of dress, aesthetic norms, trends, colour, personality expression and context.During the week, you will develop project boards to effectively combine design elements, principles and retail concepts through research and concept development.

Course notes

This course focuses on current fashion trends in the international market. Through group analysis of current and emerging trends, the latest shows and published fashion materials, students produce visual reports/boards on their own observation of the trends.

All equipment will be supplied.
